Creative Consulting
Struggling with a project? I can help.
If you are working on a script, screenplay, pitch deck, treatment, TEDTalk, or any other kind of creative presentation, my approach to story structure and embodied storytelling can help grow your idea from seed to success.
With over 15 years of experience directing, writing, and producing across multiple media and platforms, I know how to successfully harness our innately human understanding of story to elevate any message and reach a wider audience. The key is to find the perfect marriage of content, form, and function.
Here’s some of what I can offer…
-

Individual Sessions
In a one-off session, I can provide honest and detailed feedback on an existing draft, or help you get to that first draft by clarifying ideas into stories. These sessions often result in a visualized story structure that you can keep referring back to, long after our work is done.
-

Ongoing Development
I work with you over a series of sessions, following up my initial feedback with an actionable plan for revisions, an accountability calendar, or whatever else you might need to get to the next stage of your project.
-

Group Workshops
I offer a number of workshops, including Working with Actors, Story Structure Across Media, and How to Turn a Pitch into a Performance. Participants can range from students in the arts to working professionals looking to spruce up their presentation methods.
“Whitney takes ideas and gives them life. She pours herself into projects — taking your vision and presenting imaginative possibilities you’ve never thought of or considered. She is passionate, encouraging, tireless, and creative. We’d work with her again on any project. Working with Whitney is truly a pleasure and we couldn’t recommend her more enthusiastically.”
